With their newfound power called blight, they decide to travel cross country from Arizona to New Jersey with the hopes of Dr.Hex being able to save humanity from the end of the world. Once they return to the outside world now without government, the depressing reality sweeps over the group, it’s not just the infected they have to worry about. They also will encounter the cruel nature of humanity
